No, not per David Norton at SPEC... He says the 6 puck design is the perfect balance between reduction in rotating mass, clamping strength and longevity for my application, road racing... I had this in-depth discussion with him prior to ordering this one because they offer so many different options from dual plate street clutches to crazy AZZ dragstrip clutches and all are available for the XF.... I'm not the clutch expert, he is... If you need a technical discussion on the pros and cons of each, I would suggest you give him a call...
