Default Re: Oil Filter Alternative

I really don't see the financial big deal about using fleece filters. Everything I have read says the same thing that a fleece filter is superior to a paper one. If I'm spending a fortune on the best oil (Mobil 1 0W 40) why be a cheapskate on the filter? If you go to fleetfilter you can buy a fleece for as cheap as $9 and something apiece (the WIX). My only thing is that since I went the K&N route on the air filters I decided to go K&N on the oil filters. Even the K&N are only $16 on Amazon. Most dealers would charge you more than that for the paper ones!!!
