Default Re: Dashboard lighting - bulb out?

I'll look for that red "low fuel" dash (shouldn't that feature be documented in the owner's manual?), but I have another problem on my 2005 SRT-6 - the area of the instrument panel with the fuel gage is not lit as brightly as the rest. I was able to remove the fuse cover on that side of dash, pull out the vent assembly and get my hand behind the gauge, but I can't find a bulb socket, twist-out or othewise. There is a small depression behind the fuel gauge, but I verified on another Crossfire that this is normal, not a missing bulb socket. There is also a large rectangular protrusion (at an angle) that feels like a wiring harness plug-in, but the "bumps" on both sides which I would expect to be clips don't really give when pressed and I can't get it to come loose. Anyone ever changed out an instrument panel bulb, especially behnid the fuel gauge? I was never able to download a service manual to look it up.
