Default Re: Who has out run the cops?

Jaded,
I am a police OFFICER. I also drive a Crosfire and have driven sports cars my whole life. It is very unfortunate that the crap your spewing is even posted and I feel I must reply.

1. Police do not enjoy high speed chases. I scares you ****less. It risks the lives of innocent people, the OFFICER and the suspect for no reason. The end of a chase always ends up in a review by your supervisors and often leads to civil action against the OFFICER. Who thinks this is something we look forward to or derive some type of enjoyment from? You have been watching to many episodes of TJ Hooker.

2. It is amazing that you do not know me or what I do and feel you have the right to disrepect me and the term police OFFICER. The police are out there every day, every hour, every minute to make sure there is some type of order maintained. I hope you have to call them for something you need and then look in the mirror and realize how arrogant and ignorant your statements are. You don't have to like me for the job I do, but I don't have to let your juvenile dribble persist on this forum.

3. I drive a sports car because I enjoy it. I am not above the law. When did buying a sports car make you above the law? I have found that most people who can purchase sports cars are the type of people who work hard and respect the law and other people. It is an exception in your case it seems. When have you seen a sports car owner run from the police in your vast experience as a COPS watcher. The sports cars are usually stolen not owned. I have been in a few chases and guess what? Not one sports car not even a sportier car.

4. It seems by the posts that the majority of the people see the stupidity in running from the police. I would hope that a thread popularizing illegal activity would not happen. Hey Jaded, maybe you can start your next thread with "Anybody sold crack cocaine in your crossfire.....".

5. White knight syndrome, hmmm thank God there is a little left.

6. Jaded. It's officer, ay.
