This is an interesting thread... Funny how many different sorts of people we have here. Good that most of us are sane.
In my younger years, I outwitted the police a couple of times... see the lights, speed up a bit and take a quick turn into a neighborhood you know how to get through before they have a chance to get turned around and really see you.... That kind of thing. You know... where you could honestly claim that you didn't see them yet if they did find you, but have hope that they might not. But actually outrunning, no. I'd have to go with those who say that sort of thing is just a bad idea to even try. It's too dangerous and the consequences are too great. Makes for great movie scenes, but the reality of it is just not glamorous and potentially tragic for you or for some innocent family you might come across in your flight. Besides, if you're driving a Crossfire, they're very likely to find you even if they don't catch you right off. It's not like it's an anonymous car like a Malibu where there might be 50 of them in the same neighborhood.
