Ditto. Never even considered running.

In fact, when I know I'm getting pulled over, the first thing I do is turn on my hazard lights.
The second thing I do is pull off of the main road, if it is busy. Side street, parking lot, anything to get us out of traffic.

This pulling off the road thing has gotten me questioned "Why didn't you pull over emmediatly?"
And I always answer "It is safer for us, officer." I go out of my way to make thier job easier.

As for this thread... I agree, it does make for interesting reading.
Tempers have unfortunatly flaired, but the info is pretty good/cool from a generalised perspective.
Lots of good opinions and stories.
