6/2/04 11am Update:

The finance writer calls to tell me my contract is void and that there is a right of recission or whatever on the contract. I told him to find it, because I read it and that is not true.

Finally he admitted that he made a mistake and that it was up to me to pay for it.

I told him that I wasn't paying for his mistake and that if he wanted me to renegotiate that he must give me something.

He offered a free oil change or some paint treatment. I told him I'd call back.

I'm going to counter offer with 3 oil changes and a guaranteed rental for me to have the recall looked at. But I'm going to make him sweat for a few hours first.
