Stock honda civics can put 350 to the wheels on stock internals without exploding, srt-4's can do 400+, so im pretty sure these motors can handle 425-450 before you even remotely have to start worrying. I too am curious how much further we can push the s/c, and still keep it reliable for us daily drivers.
I split the stock block on a 5.0L mustang with 450 at the rear wheels (lotsa boost

). I know the 5.0L block is good up to about 500 at the flywheel, then you start 'risking' it.
I don't think I have heard of any major internal failures on any of the modded C32's and SLK32's, let alone the SRT...but then again I haven't seen anyone running a lot of power through them either.
After looking at the rear axle on these things, that would be my first concern. It is tiny!
