The fireo GT was a great car for its time, the 4 cylinders are what gave it a bad name. And unlike the Crossfire GM made improvements every year untill they killed it. The gt's in good shape are worth as much as 15,000 CAN '88 are the cream of the crop. Lotus suspension design that is different then all other years.

The '85 gt I had did 0-60 in7.9 1/4 mile in 15.9 top speed 125 weight 2570lbs and trust me I could smoke my buddies MR2. My car had grunt, he had to rev his to 5000rpm and drop the cluth to even have a chance. Handling was close MR2 was a bit more agile and neutral. The fireo was roomy compared to the crossfire too! I would love to have one again!
