I have this exact same problem. It scares the daylights out of me. Of course the service department cannot duplicate it. The other day it happened at least 10 times while stopped in extremely bad traffic for about 15 minutes. This is the most I have ever heard it. It is usually only once while stopped at a red light, and only in the afternoon when the car is hot. My car is at the dealer now. They are calling the field rep. from Chrysler to see if they know anything about it. I'm sure they have heard this before. We are not the only ones.

Some times, not often, when I pull up to a stop light and are sitting there I hear a single "pop" kind of noise. It can also be felt and seems to come from behind me and below the floorboard. The noise can be loud or faint. It hapens after I've come to a full stop and have been sitting there a short time.
Anyone experience this, if so what can you tell me? I hope this is not going to be one of those things the dealer said he can't dublicate.
