I sold a 4 yr old MINI Cooper S for only $5000 less than what I paid for it new. They have one of the highest resale values, but I see that dropping rapidly as more are in the marketplace now. That fact and the "new" SRT-6 I found that was less than half the sticker price made my new ride a nice deal, indeed. I realize that I will never get that good of a resale price out of a car again and the depreciation of a Chrysler is horrible, but when am I ever going to be able to buy a $50,000 car that happens to be cool and unique ever again? If the prices do eventually go up, it will just be an added bonus.
