When working in the engine bay installing mods, I had scrapped my hands and arms on the heat shields more then once. One shield had a sliver that could slice cow hide.

A little heat gun to soften up the trim and help work/fit around all the radiuses and bends, a little black adhesive silicone and a little patience and it came out pretty nice - - - for $1 piece of trim.

Cheap & Easy - can't complain about that and still not ashamed to show-off some pics.



Looks great Brian, I've cut myself more than once on those sharp edge's too. I have a little of that trim left over from installing some fender flare's on a truck I had, I'll have to see if I have enough to do the same.
