I am sure that article was not attempting to be humorous; none of my jeeps could even remotely considered smooth shifting. The transmission noise in every jeep I have ever been in also sounds like a cement mixer turning so the NSG 370 would definitely be a huge improvement over anything Jeep has had in the past
