Does your catalytic converters or muffler glow now? What you are speaking of are turbo endurance test on engine dynos. Race cars could get like that but not a street car. It wouldn't be creating high enough EGTs with those low boost levels to get it that hot.
Not only that but due to the distance from the exhaust manifold the turbo would never get that hot.
