Not only that but due to the distance from the exhaust manifold the turbo would never get that hot.
To be more specific......CC's and mufflers have a little looser dimensional tolerances than a turbo with a rotating assembly. I didn't say they would crack....but I wonder about bearings, fatigue fractures, and fittings. I work with welding and metallurgy 7 days a week........I know what happens when hot metal gets quenched with cold slushy water.
