Ok so I returned to the service team and Nick was gone out with a customer to test drive the p.t. cruiser. I did my best to talk with the tech but there was a serious language barrier. After 15 minutes of trying the tech attempted to show me what took place. There is a hand-held machine that I believe all the chrysler techs have. It appears to be a diagnostic machine of some sort. Well again he connected this under my dash (driver side-near hood latch) the screen came alive with percentages and other information. From what I could make out he adjusted something with the engine then reset the smart tranny system. Then he punched some more keys. I tried my best to get him to explain but that language barrier is a real problem. I phoned Nick the one services tech that speak english and he told me to come in tomorrow for a free car wash and detail and he would explain. Nick did say that they would not adjust the system more than they have for warranty purposes. I'll post what I can once I see Nick. My car rides great.
