Default Re: Custom A/V - Interior Project

I was worried about the bottom half, where the switches are, not having the depth needed for the AM double-din unit.

I'm planning to relocate the switches to replace the coin holder/ashtray, air bag light, and cigaretter lighter. I'll build a segment in the glove compartent on the side closest the driver for coins and eliminate or relocate the air bag light (don't have and never will have kids). I have a two-port 12V accessory plug that I'll mount up under the passenger foot well.

I'm going to do the work myself and maybe take the epoxy/fiberglass pieces to a body shop for paint. I'll document the whole process when I get started.
