Brother, I feel your pain. Just replaced both low and high beam lamps. Driver's side not too bad, but passenger side high beam was a mother! I know it is not the way the manual tells you to replace that bulb, but I found it easier to remove the coolant resevoir (after much coercing). I had plenty of room to change the bulb. Not easy no matter how you do it. I did use a mirror and had a couple of brewskies after to ease the pain.

Yep! I did the same for the passenger side. Also used a
mirror to see the bulb and clip. However, a
needle nose pliers worked much better than a brewskie to disconnect the clip and remove the bulb. Not so hard if you take your time and don't drop anything. Now, I hope the Sylvania Ultras last longer than some of the reports I have seen?
