Default Re: Want to buy SRT 6, but getting concerned...

Looks like there are as many opinions as posters. My advice is to drive one. This is a premium car and one turn of the steering wheel speaks volumes over the cars with cheaper bones. We have an SRT6 with 45K miles and its as tight as the two conventional models I've owned with less than 20K miles. The car wreaks SOLID. You just don't get that with a stang or a charger. As far as everyday driving, my wife drives it daily and loves it (yeah its mama's car and she lets me drive it). Only problems have been low tech: light bulbs and a small valve cover leak, which could happen with any car. As with all super-high performance versions, you're going to lose some smoothness in the torque curve and ride quality, as compared with the conventional models, but what a hoot it is to drive -- every time you get behind the wheel.
