You're not buying anything by revving past 4500rpm at the line.
If I launch at 4500 rpm all I do is make tire dust and a lot of noise. not what I'd call a launch control in the proper sense.

The neutral limiter only kicks in when the front tires are not turning......there's a front to rear percentage differential in wheel speed that kicks this in....if you're going over 20 MPH and miss a shift the car will bounce the redline limiter.
