What Heb is saying is that the 2004 model had only one "trim" level, fully loaded. The only real options for the 2004 were Auto Trans., ASP Mud & Snow Tires, and some limited accessories like the lighted sills and such.
The 2005 is a much stripped down model. If you get a 2005 Limited, you get all the "options" that were standard on the 2004.
Nobody doubts that your 2004 has silver trim. ALL of the 2004's have the silver trim you describe. Though some people (mostly those with black) have had that window trim painted to match the body.
