Re: Heated Seats
Unfortunately, yes, my 3/36k warranty is expired. But I am within the extended warranty period. The dealer had no problems taking a look to see what was wrong, but they wanted me to be aware of their riduclous diagnostic fee in the event that my extended warranty wouldn't pay (which he said on my car can happen). I actually talked to someone at Chrysler Service Contracts this morning who told me that "heated seats are the one 'luxury group' item not covered in your wanrranty". But, as others posted that an extended warranty helped them out - I don't know what to do! I think it is a shame, this is an identified problem with these cars but rather than take care of the consumers, once Damiler-Chrysler split, they probably figured the Crossfire customers would go elsewhere when looking for the next car since they have stopped production on them after 2008.....what a shame!! SUch a fabulous car (except when broken!!!)
