What I like about the built in navigation system that NONE of the portable ones have is that I can crank up the music and when the navigation system alerts you to a turn the music volume lowers and the navigation voice, on a seperately controlled volume, calmly gives the directions . When done the music automatically goes back to 'blast' volume.
