When I picked up my XF in April 04, the dealer told me that since the car was so new in the UK, the Log Books had not been printed. I was told to expect mine in the post in the future. However, I did get the Owners Manual.

Does anyone know if this is true?

Incidentally, my wife picked up her PT Cruiser at the same time, and her Log Book is now integrated into the Owners manual, which I thought was pretty neat.
