Just moments ago as I was backing out of my parking space, my friend grazed my rear right body panel just above the wheel well. The body panel is the same part that has the gas cap on it. The paint is slightly scuffed but nothing serious. However there is a light indent that runs from 3 inches above the middle of the wheel well about 12 inches towards the back of the car. After examining both sides of the car, its noticeably indented on the side that was impacted. Feeling around the wheel well I saw that there was no easily accessable way to reach the underside of the sheet metal.

Does anyone know if its possible to remove this indent by lightly pushing the metal out from the inside with a rubber mallet, etc.? Please let me know!
