My 05 SRT crossfire has a problem that has even baffled the dealer... I am wondering if any one else has had this experience... My 05 is an auto stick and on some mornings when I start her up the shifter position indicator in the insturment cluster is blacked out. when I shift in to R or any other position, the transmission slams into gear and will not shift automaticly . Car also has no and I mean NO power on acceleration. Most of the time after driving about a block or so it will clear its self and all is normal ... the check engin light comes on and after about three aditional starts the check engine light resets... I have had the car in my posession for 3 days since thanksgiving and the rest of the time the dealer has tried to find the problem... I am hoping that this has happened to at least someone else that can help me .... I want my car back ......
My SRT6 does some similiar things & it went into the Dealer for the First time (& I hope the Last) yesterday, for Trans weepage,
stuck in 2nd Gear I think, &
No Gears shown in Dash Display
& New Italia Titinium brake pads installed. (Let's hope they can get it right!)
