Why is it that all these lease prices are so HIGH?? Have prices dropped this much in two months?

I have a NEW 2004 XFire Coupe Limited AutoStick & ASP Tires with an MSRP of 35,755. The dealership got me a DC Employee # through some friends and family special, also a Chrysler Cash rebate & Lease loyalty cash.

DC Employee Friend & Family VIA Dealership (-$3500)
Chrysler Cash Rebate (-$2500)
DC Lease Loyaty Cash (-$1000)
Lease Disposal Fee Coupon (-$300)
Free Oil Changes for 36mo/36K
Dealer Negotiated (-$263)

39mo/15K per year, 1st month due at signing, $23 for plate transfer and taxes on all rebates with $400 total due at signing. And they had to trade for the car. And I am not a DC employee or friend of one either. This was about four weeks ago.

$249 + tax = $263.94 per month.

Lets see if this makes the forum a little fiery
