Nice job, the painted grille looks good as well. With a light tint there is a small amount of light reduction (maybe 5%) I was thinking about going to the new brighter Sylvania bulbs on the front which should cover that. From the rear, I can't really tell the difference.

The look is stunning day or night. I think where you might have problems is a colored tint. I know there are regs on the books in CA against them (especially blue) I tried to get several tint places (windows) to do the lights but they want to use a tint spray. That is permanent and if the laws (or my mind) changes, it will mean getting new light enclosures. As said before, patience is needed. I have to redo two of mine (one front and one rear) because of fine bubbles. Even using a pin hasn't worked and there are patches of "orange peel" on the two. You don't see it much from 5-10 feet but it is very appearant up close.
