The Mini is a cool little FWD sporty economy car.
The Crossfire is a true RWD sports car.

Top speed -
advantage Crossfire (can your Mini really go 155 mph) ?
Drag Race -
advantage Crossfire (

Auto X -
advantage Crossfire
(Minis are either g/stock or h/stock and they do
very well in their class but the Crossfire is in d/stock, this is not my opinion, it's SCCA rules based on performance on-track) !
You better check your facts on the autox stuff. DS isn't really any faster than GS, where the Cooper S is classed (and has won multiple national championships).
In fact, according to the 2008 pax numbers, GS is actually faster:

I'd say xfire vs. mcs for autox is essentially a draw...a lot is going to depend on the course.
I autox a Crossfire and don't particularly like Mini's, but they're very capable autox cars. And they've got something that every true sports car should have that our cars don't...a limited-slip diff (at least in the S).
