I've had it off for a few weeks with no ill effects other than the warning lights on the dash. This will allow you to dyno your xfire if you like. With the wire disconnected I hit 6200RPM in every gear before shifts. Its definately more fun and will allow you to drift the car through corners, powerbrake,etc.... Now if someone would find out how to make the tranny hold gears that would really be fun. I'm sure you could toggle the wire, but I prefer to just keep it off. I grew up without ABS so its not a big deal not to have it. Let me know how this works for your manual crossfire as mine is an automatic.
