I'm not surprised what high heat does at all. I vacationed in Greenville SC last summer when it was 95-100o and my twin-turbo A6 accelerated like a pig. She does the same when it gets below 20o. She kind of likes temperatures in the 50-70o range, just like me.
This was a good thread. Lots of interesting discussion and information. Wish I had a few spare hundred but I have to do some bodywork and a brake job on the "new" SRT6 first.
