it appears that pulling only 18 is key. i did it, with working break lights and lost a little rubber in doing so. it didn't break loose and hold as long as i wanted, but i had my cousin in the car with me. we're both over 200lbs so the car had to work a little bit harder than normal. i think i'm leaving it out until i see an issue arrise. there appears to be no limit on my rpm either. full red line through 2nd in my manual. 3rd gear the car just ran out of power and couldn't get more than a hard clutch pop. i'll be sure to do some sideways driving tomorrow with less weight in the car.
