The Rotex pads are a Kevlar/metallic blend. Their main purpose is to create less dust than a traditional metallic pad.
I do not, nor will I ever race my car; therefore, all I really am looking for is less dust. The orig. poster of this thread claims that he saw no dust reduction. I have yet to try them out, but if I can stop as good or nearly as good as stock but with less dust, I'll be happy.
