Isn't lean dangerous for turbos?
Lean is dangerous for any car............but the kind of lean he's refering to is a "safe" lean. Most turbo/boosted cars run an AFR of 10:1=11:1(some even richer) from the factory to guarantee that they will run safely. If you take that and lean it out to 12.0-12.8(max) you will run more effiiciently and make more power.
