I just bought a new set of tires for our SRT, we had Michelin pilot sports which were only so so, one had a developed a bump some how and two others had cracks in the walls, and one was new after a high speed blow out... Michelin offered us a 30% discount as they stiull had quite abit of life left even after 17000 miles..

We decided to buy Goodyear F1 all season - they were still cheaper for the set.. but interestingly we then drove 2800 miles last week and averaged 26 mpg most of the way on I80 at 78mph which was about 4 mpg better than we ever got from the michelins..
