I'm just studying this kind of stuff in school right now. I hate to hear of any business mistreating a customer. From a business trategy/customer service standpoint, TVT has signed their own death warrant. I understand why some people point their finger at the mechanic, but in court, TVT would be ultimately responsible for:
1. Replacing the part
2. Accepting the damaged part (Mechanic acted in good faith.)
3. Paying the mechanic the labor to try again.
4. All shipping.
