Default Re: Bad Customer Service

This was the orginal agreement:

1. He calls me and tells me the mechanic says the part does not fit.
2. I say send it back and we will send you out the straighter one.
3. I receive the part disassembled (it is not just a pop in kind of thing)
4. I explain that we can send him both thermostats back and when he brings it to his mechanic to install have them fix it as we are unable to.
5. He would be refunded the cost of the second thermostat and charged the lesser price for the more expensive thermostat. We would cover all shipping charges. We will not cover the $75.00 to install a thermostat after coolant has already been drained, that seems a little excessive.

The two thermostats are identical in nature with the only difference being the angle of the neck. The 45 degree angle can and has fit on these cars. Some prefer it for different hose placement. It is a modified thermostat, not a stock replacement. So yes it would have fit his application.

His money has been returned including shipping cost.
