Xfirenorth, the race is sanctioned. Check their website, www.bborr.com. The Highway is closed for the race and the number of cars on the route is varies according to the bracket that they are in. In the unlimited class there is only one car on the course. In the slower brackets the cars may be as close as 30 seconds.

There have been 115 cars in some of the past races and as few as 85.

For those that are not aweare of how this type of race works, it is a timed race. You also have a Tech speed that you can not exceed. The idea is to get from point A to point B as close to the time for your speed bracket. So if you are in the 100mph bracket then you must run the course in 20.00 minuets. The winner is determined by who is closets to this time + or -.

If you are interested in coming out here and seeing what this type of race is about then you can come and be a gate guard for this years race.
