My trunk latch on my 07 Roadster felt like it broke today. Flimsy moving back and forth but doing nothing to open the trunk.
I just kept pressing the key fob for lock twice and unlock twice over and over, probably four to five times before ...presto! I could press the trunk latch, feel resistance and voila it could open and raise.
Thank God, the beer was in there tonight!
Note for future: figure out how to avoid/fix and be sure to put beer in floorboard of passenger seat. Sheriff's office be damned!
Well, I was all smug about a seemingly flawless Crossfire until today when the trunk wouldnt open.
I did repeat the fob unlock drill to no avail.
Tomorrow, or should I say later today (cant sleep) I shall try your suggestions.
Failing that, how does one get the trunk open?
