Looking for some assistance in diagnosing and resolving a problem which materialized on my first drive since parking my SRT last Fall. It happened three times after slowing to a stop in drive. When I accerated in a normal fashion , the transmission would not shift out of first gear. Then by simply pulling to the curb , shifting into park , and then proceeding again the tranmission again performed normally. The transmission ,otherwise appears to operate as it should. I suspect that when by coming to a stop and shifting into park that I may be resetting the computer, allowing the transmission to again perform as intended. Anysuggestions? Your help would be much appreciated! My SRT is still under warranty , so my next step will be to go to the local Chrysler dealer , who I have been told has a Crossfire trained mechanic, however I doubt that he has ever seen an SRT,let alone having worked on one!
