Has anyone ever thought about have some company that custom paints ipods and computers and all sorts of other consumer electronics to paint an aftermarket radio to match our interiors? Check out this company.
http://www.q2designs.com They paint ipods ands do graphics on computers. How hard would it be to get a few people together on one radio and have them paint 10 or however many of them the silver of our cars? I for one would jump all over this if there were other people that would commit to it and they would be game to do it as well. They are located here in MN which is where I live. I can see if I can check the place out and see what they can do if there would be any interest. Looking at prices, I'd say they would charge $100-$200 to do it but to me that would be so totally worth it. I for one would like to see that JVC KD-NX5000 in silver. It looks like the only trouble in painting it would the buttons on the corners might not light up any more but the rest of it looks like it should jsut be custom graphics and silver paint and voila, in-dash navigation DVD radio that matches the rest of our car.
What does everyone think? Is this something that might be possible or am I just dreaming?
