I guess one could argue that by running the car harder coolant temps would elevate. Heat is an enemy of just about everything out there so when the pump is pushing hot water vs warm water life could be shortened perhaps?
Edit: I just checked
Johnson's site out and noticed that the operating temp max's out a 212ºf for the CM30. Anyone out there with a coolant temp gauge on their heat exchanger care to share their readings?
