I installed my new CAI today too.
I don't drink beer so I can't tell ya how many beers it took to do the install but I took my time and discovered one minor thing not mentioned in the instructions. The 90 degree front aluminum elbow that the filter attaches to behind the grill is slightly longer on one end more than the other.
I initially had it so the longer end was behind the grill with the filter on it but then found the shorter end to not reach far enough into the engine bay to connect to the rest of the intake tubes. So I turned it around and it worked fine.
After a brief conversation with Rob I actually had it right the first time but I left it the other way and in the end I have the whole thing installed and everything lines up and clears all critical points.
