Needswings CAI - Another happy customer
Speaking from relative ignorance (I don't know that much about the SL55 intake), I can't imagine why anyone would go that route. The SL55 intake appears (at least to me) to have a major choke point where it enters the manifold. I can't image that you would get much improvement over stock. Anyone have numbers handy on it? (Not that it matters much to me, my NeedWings CAI is on its way to me already)

I actually put down 320 whp after looking over the print out this weekend but don’t tell anyone
Sweet! I'm glad - for all the SL55 guy's sake - that I was wrong. I wouldn't have guessed from looking at it that its performance would be the same as the Needswings or the BJD. I guess it's a good thing that I'm not designing intakes. LOL
Picked up my New SRT6 with the Newly installed NW CAI by Rob!
It performed Super on by 630 mile trip back to NC on Sunday, the Whine of the SC & the Extra Pull was Very Noticeable from my other SRT6s.
I Love it, as well as the New Roadster.
Thank you Rob!

I have a 04 Crossfire
I ran the car at the track 22 times.
I ran first with the OEM air intake and my best time out of my first 11 runs was 14.9252.
Every other run was in the low 15's with the stock set up.
Then I put on my Needswings CAI and my best time out of another 11 runs was 14.7898.
I ran consistantly in the high 14's with Needswings CAI
Needswings intake does improve preformance.
Also note:
I think Needswings is the only CAI that eliminates the black plastic oem throttle body and connects directly to the intake manifold.
This is the most air a Crossfire can possibly get.
I did a total of 22 runs ,11 with stock and 11 with Needswings.
Needswings is the way to go IMO
That should improve after you put some miles on it with the intake on. From what others say, the ECU adapts to the change in air, and provides even more power.
