I've ducked away once or twice. Never more than a distance of a few hundred yards though, you could hardly call it running. I was riding passenger one time when we were saved by one of those universal garage door things that's supposed to open ALL garage doors. LOL, just hid in some stranger's garage for a few minutes. The only time I guess you could say I "outran" an OFFICER I was on an old 2 laner out in the country that had not a single entrance, exit, dirt road, bike trail or anything. Was doing 150 and a trooper came up over a hill right as I reached it's base. He hit the lights for just a second like he was going to give chase and then promptly turned them off and kept on going. I don't know what happened, I like to think he realized I picked that road to run on beacause it didn't endanger anyone but me and decided to let it be... only he knows I guess. That of course was maybe 2 or 3 weeks after I bought it. I'm too afraid to do that anymore, they all know the car and where I live. There's 2 SSBs in this town and mine is the "one with the round exhaust"(officer friend of mine commenting on my place among the car heirarchy in the "squad")
