I have, many times. Just get your local drag strip or race track to hold an event and get the local law to come play. Its fun and LEGAL ! I always give some of the local officers a hard time because I have yet to lose a race to them. But the other hard part, if I ever do anything dumb around town, they know who I am, and there isn't lying about it was another crossfire. lol I will agree with another post here, and that is, if you see him, and he is either turning on his lights, or just turning around, just pull over before he has to pull you over.
