No, mine is much more metallic sounding than that... almost as if a person was to put a piece of paper thin metal between the pads and the rotors... it could just be the pads themselves, I guess, but I have never had this kind of metallic sound come from pads before...

As regards your issue, I am sure that there are those out there that know much, much more about these things than myself, but I would suspect a failed wheel bearing. Failed bearings mimic what you are describing perfectly.
