Default Re: this car produces the most "head turners" than any other car under $50k.

I bought my Crossfire because it was a small, manual, good looking car with a lifetime powertrain and 100K mile bumper to bumper warranty for $20,000. But this thing has some SERIOUS performance flaws for what is considered a "sports car". I don't consider it a bargain as much as I consider it's $30,000 MSRP to be absurd.

Maybe with the 10 grand I "saved" I can do what those German pansies should have done straight from the factory.

Higher ratio / Rack & pinion steering
NO stability management
A proper mechanical limited slip diff
Higher rate lower springs
High performance shock absorbers
A power curver that doesn't drop off like it's being strangled
Heavier sway bars (minus the plastic links and pillow soft rubber bushings)
A shifter that isn't sloppy as a Harlem grandmother
A proper alignment
Shed 400lbs
Substantially longer final gear

Until then it just feels like a milquetoast compromise. I'm suprised it doesn't come with a specialized compartment for your Metamucil.

Ok, I don't really think this lowly of the car. I'm just trying out for the "Elite Alienationist" award.
