I built and tuned my own (grand total $12,000) toy out of an early 90's FWD granny 4 door sedan in a pole barn on a two post lift in my back yard. It had twice the wheel horsepower and felt much more surefooted and responsive than the Crossfire. I was a little fatigued having to drive such a visceral car to work every day and sold it to my girl of 6 years as a toy (She'll be racing it at SDAC in Detroit this year).

So yes, I'm a little disappointed at how tame this car is for $20,000 and I miss the high pitched ear-assault of that T3/T04E 50 trim (Think SRT4 + Greyhound bus), but I'll get over it.
