I can certainly understand the mind-numbing part of it but if you don't like stopping cars that almost stop but fail to do so by a wee margin then why do it? I'm sure your supervisor isn't watching you every moment.
I've been pulled over twice for not coming to a complete stop: one 'cause I had to pull forward to see around a Giant Detroit Chrome Mountain (also known as a Suburban) & didn't completely stop with my front end hanging out in traffic (no fine, just a warning but I was p.o.'ed nonetheless) & once here in town by one of the locals. Turns out he used to work with my wife & after having some laughs he just walked away. In the later case I must've moved a millimeter or so at the stop sign. I mean, come on......
The choice is yours, you can be the nit-picker or not.
